Highfield is the name given to the ward and suburb[2] of Burntwood in the Lichfield District in the county of Staffordshire, England. It is one of the six wards on Burntwood Town Council[3]
Geography
[edit]Highfield covers the northeastern part of Burntwood.[4] Notable landmarks and amenities in the area include:
- Christ Church - The oldest parish church in Burntwood and a Grade II[5] listed building on Church Road.[6]
- Cosy Nook at The Old Beerhouse - An outdoor camping site by a Grade II listed[7] former beerhouse. The building is a timber framed house and is now used for recreational use.[8]
Amenities
[edit]Highfield partially covers a small portion of the northern part of Cannock Road. The nearest shopping centres are both Swan Island and Burntwood town centre.[9]
