Ichibu Station (一分駅, Ichibu-eki) is a station in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, Japan, on the Kintetsu Ikoma Line of the Kintetsu Railway.
The name of 'Ichibu' can be found in a record written in 8th century, as a place of the residence of Prince Arima in the 7th century.
History
[edit]- 1926 (Showa 1) December 28: Ikoma Line was extended. Ichibu Station was opened along with other stations between Motosanjōguchi Station and Ikoma Station.[1]
- 1964 (Showa 39) October 1: Kinki Nippon Railway, which had been the owner of Ichibu Station, was acquired by Kintetsu Railway. Ichibu Station became part of the Kintetsu Ikoma Line.[1]
- 1977 (Showa 52) July 31: Double track was added in Nabata, Ichibu and Minami-Ikoma Stations.[2]
- 2007 (Heisei 19) April 1: PiTaPa system was incorporated to the station.[3]
