Family background

[edit]

Borda-Pedreira is son of the Swedish professor of ethnology Beatriz Lindqvist and was grandson of the Bolivian poet and member of parliament Hector Borda Leaño (1927–2022). The surname Olañeta comes from his grandmother's family, who are descendents of the Spanish realist general Pedro Antonio de Olañeta.
