Kakdwip fishing port is located at Kakdwip in South Twenty-four Parganas in the coastal district of West Bengal, India. It is an important full-fledged fishing port. The port was developed in the left-front period. The port serves the coastal area and fish trawler from deep seas anchor in this port .[1]

Kakdwip fishing port is located at Kakdwip in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, on the banks of river Muriganga, in the Kalnaagini canal. The port is about 130 kilometers away from Kolkata.

The Kakadipu fishing port is actually a place where fishing boats or trawlers are anchored in a non-organized manner for loading, unloading and repairing and shelter. This place has long-term demand for fishing in fish fishing as well as for organizing fishing business at the same time. Department of Fisheries, Government of West Bengal, establishes the modern fishing port, which provides 50% of the cost to the Indian government and 50% of the state government.
