This is a list of German ambassadors to the Czech Republic (and previously to Czechoslovakia).
History
[edit]Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between West Germany and Czechoslovakia in 1973, the German Embassy has occupied the Palais Lobkowicz, a Baroque palace with an extensive garden was completed in 1707, and located at Vlašská 19, Malá Strana, Prague.[1] The palace was acquired by the House of Lobkowicz in 1753, who in 1927 sold it to the Czechoslovak state.[2][3]
