Loxanthocereus faustianus is a species of Loxanthocereus found in Peru.[1]
Description
[edit]It is a cactus with red-orange flowers, and that grows between 40 centimetres (16 in) and 45 centimetres (18 in) tall. It produces red to brown berries, and medium-sized brown-black seeds.[2]
Distribution
[edit]Plants are found in Lima, Peru in the valleys of Chillón, Rímac and Santa Eulalia at elevations around 1260 meters.
