"Mural" is a song by American rapper Lupe Fiasco.[1][2][3][4] The song appears as the second song on his fifth studio album, Tetsuo & Youth.

The song contains elements of "Chanson d'Un Jour d'Hiver", performed by Alain Mion and Cortex.[6]

Legacy

The song has been turned into a loose trilogy with other tracks from Lupe Fiasco's discography. Such as the song "Ms. Mural", off of his album Drill Music in Zion, or "Mural Jr.", Off of his album Drogas Wave.[7] The three songs are loosely based on the characters Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man, with each song sharing the same post nominals.[8] The album cover for Drill Music in Zion also resembles a dead Pac-man.[9]

Reception

The song received positive reception, highlighting Fiasco's "lyrical skill and knowledge", and calling it the best song on the album.[10]

The song was ranked 9 on Genius' 50 Best Rap Songs of 2015.[11]
