Omar al-Bitar (Arabic: عمر البيطار; also Romanized as Omar el-Bitar) (1880–1946) was a Palestinian politician who served as the mayor of Jaffa during the British colonial period.[1][2]

He was described as "a quintessential symbol of Jaffa in his time."[1]
