The 2007 Pacific hurricane season was the second quietest Pacific hurricane season since reliable records began in 1971, in terms of accumulated cyclone energy (ACE). The season produced eleven tropical storms, four of which became hurricanes with one of those attaining major hurricane status. The season began early, with two storms developing in May, the third such occurrence on record. Activity was slow for the subsequent months; through the end of July, the seasonal ACE was the third lowest since the geostationary satellite era began in 1966, and the next month was the third quietest on record in terms of ACE.

Tropical Storm Barbara in June caused $55 million (2007 USD) in crop damage in southeastern Mexico from heavy precipitation. In August, Hurricane Flossie formed in the Eastern Pacific and crossed into the Central Pacific, threatening Hawaii but causing little damage. In early September, Hurricane Henriette dropped heavy rainfall in southwest Mexico, which caused nine fatalities and $275 million (2007 USD) in damage.
