Queen of Lapa is a 2019 documentary film directed by Theodore Collatos and Carolina Monnerat.[1] The film profiles Luana Muniz, a Brazilian transgender activist.[2][3] The documentary uses cinema verité style to depict the lives of a small community of trans sex workers in Rio de Janeiro's Lapa neighborhood.[4][5]
