Regulation & Governance is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the study of government regulations by social scientists. It was established in 2007 and is published by John Wiley & Sons. The editors-in-chief are David Levi-Faur (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Jodi Short (University of California, Hastings College of the Law), and Benjamin Van Rooij (University of California, Irvine School of Law).

According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 3, ranking it 20th out of 49 journals in the category "Public Administration", 50th out of 187 journals in the category "Political Science" and 11th out of 154 journals in the category "Law".[1]. However, according to another metric, the TQCC (top quartile citation count), Regulation and Governance is ranked #1 in Law as of early 2024.[2]
