Ruda is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants.

Ruda lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) south-east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 40 km (25 mi) east of Jihlava, and 149 km (93 mi) south-east of Prague.
