Samik Bhattacharya (born 5 November 1963) is an Indian politician from West Bengal, who is serving as member of Rajya Sabha from West Bengal since 3 April 2024. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party,[1] Bhattacharya was a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from the Basirhat Dakshin constituency from 2014 until 2016. He was also the chief spokesperson of the BJP West Bengal 2020 to 2024.[2][3]
Samik Bhattacharya was nominated as Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls in 2024.[4]Samik Bhattachrya took oath on 04th April as new Rajya Sabha MP.
