T. K. Chathunni (1944/1945 – 11 June 2024) was an Indian football coach and a player from Chalakudy, Kerala.[1]

Playing career[edit]

A defender,[2] Chathunni played for Kerala and Goa.

Coaching career[edit]

Chathunni managed most football clubs in [India like Kochin,[3] Dempo, Salgaocar, Mohun Bagan, Churchill Brothers,[4] Chirag United Club Kerala,[5] Josco and others.[6][7] He was the coach for various clubs in the National Football League (India) from 1997–98.[8][9][10][11][12] He represented both Kerala and Goa in the Santosh Trophy.[13]

Death[edit]

Chathunni died on 11 June 2024, at a hospital in Kochi, succumbing to cancer. He was 79.[14][15]
