"Tailor Swif" is a song by American rapper ASAP Rocky, released on August 30, 2024 as the second single from his upcoming fourth studio album Don't Be Dumb.[1] Its music video was released the same day on YouTube.[2] The song title is a reference to the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

Background and release

[edit]

The song first leaked after Rocky's live performance at Rolling Loud Portugal in July 2022, under the title "Wetty".[3] The track and its accompanying music video also leaked online later.[4][5] In July 2023, the rapper performed again the song at the Rolling Loud Miami, naming it "Wetty (Taylor Swift)".[6] The allusive reference to singer Taylor Swift generated a number of discussion on social networks.[7] On August 29, 2024, the rapper announced the song as the second single from his fourth studio album changing the name in "Tailor Swif".[8]
