Tobruk

[edit]

The lead states that the division suffered prettyh eavily around Tobruk however the main text of the article does not really appear to support this statement; does anyone have additional information to reinforce the Tobruk section?--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 13:04, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed information

The Italian official war historian Mario Montanari says 48 Italians were killed, and at least half of the Italians taken prisoner had been wounded in the action. He states that the Italian commander, Colonel Ugo Montemurro was awarded the Iron Class First Class for his bravery, and that Rommel had personally decorated and congratulated him for his leadership in the action. [1]

The added material states the official war historian states xyz however this is just a website that looks like bob has created it. Is the source reliable? Is its information verfiable?--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 14:48, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
