Vandalism

[edit]

Someone seems to have altered some scores in essendons favour, such as defeating the cats by 180 points!! I dont have time to fix this, but it should be dealt with. Kingutd (talk) 04:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC) ______________________________________________________ Someone needs to indicate night and twilight games...[reply]

Are North really North again? The AFL site still fairly consistently uses Kangaroos, e.g http://afl.com.au/Portals/0/afl_docs/fixture_2008%5B1%5D.pdf

I got lost fixing them :S but i think i did it eventually after mulptiple edits :| Stony (talk) 09:14, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Score vandalism is very common on AFL articles unfortunately. I have a number of them in my watchlist so I can look out for unexplained score changes and roll them back. Remy B (talk) 11:54, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism appears to be quite prevelant on this page; as far as I know the Grand Final isn't between Carlton and Geelong. Apterygial (talk) 04:42, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFL games in the UK

[edit]

A few years back there was a tradition of playing 1 game of the season in the UK (at Surrey County Cricket Ground) but that seems to have stopped in 2006. Anyone know if this is likely to return? Cheers brob (talk) 02:39, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst the AFL tries extremely hard to promote the game, they don't always return to places they've previously been to. Each year is different and it's up to the current board to decide where to promote the game. I would expect a game to be held in England at least yearly but not necessarily in Surrey. AFL Hall of Fame Tribute Match

[edit]

There needs to be something mentioned in this article about the AFL Hall of Fame Tribute Match. I remember it being in here and it seems to have been deleted. Even if it is just mentioned in an events section or something similar. --Borgardetalk 06:25, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've re-introduced the Tribute Match as there is no reason for deletion in the history log. It could have been error or vandalism but if it is opposed for some reason we can debate it here. Lympathy Talk 13:37, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Team Colours

[edit]

It'd look much nicer if we had some indications of team colours on this page. I understand fr copyright reasons the last set were deleted, but simple colours would make the page look much less cluttered and make it easier to find specific teams. The results page for the 2008 NRL is a good example. I'd do it myself, but I have no experience with svg's. Davo499 (talk) 05:36, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More Vandalism

[edit]

For round 20 it says: Carlton 19.10.124 to North Melbourne 20.10 (130)... I'm pretty sure Carlton lost by like 40 or 50 points. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.202.144.223 (talk) 23:16, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Final vandalism

[edit]

Someone has somehow edited the table for the Grand Final to show that Hawthorn will defeat Geelong by about 100 points. I don't know how to fix it, so could someone look at it. It looks real dodgy 122.49.155.16 (talk) 10:21, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it fixed itself while I typed this 122.49.155.16 (talk) 10:22, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

coleman medal

[edit]

in round 22 i was updating the coleman as it went but i forgot to do it after the essendon vs st kilda match. When someone else started updating it after the 1st week of the finals my stats wernt updated which caused the next person to get wrong stats. lloyd has more goals and so does riewoldt for the season and milne earned 10th place ahead of steve johnson. i would do it but i dont have the time so could someone else fix this 58.169.215.68 (talk) 17:57, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
