Simracing drivers

[edit]

Hi, I see that none of the Simracing drivers have been linked in this article so far. Quite a few of them have been making an astonishing carreer out of their simracing in the mean time. In line with the sentiment expessed in the first section of the Red Link page, i'd like to propose to red link those drivers that have been mentioned by name in a significant amount of Wikipedia articles and "notable & verifiable" external sources, to encourage the expansion of wikipedia in this area.

quote: "Add red links to articles to indicate that a page will be created soon or that an article should be created for the topic because the subject is notable and verifiable. Red links help Wikipedia grow. The creation of red links prevents new pages from being orphaned from the start. Good red links help Wikipedia—they encourage new contributors in useful directions, and remind us that Wikipedia is far from finished. "

A good example is Kevin Siggy: for which numerous external sources exist:

  • Kevin Siggy(Rebernak) - Simracer that has been racing and winning races in various International simracing competitions since 2014. Already mentioned by name (non-linked) in 6 Established Wikipedia articles [1], External: Won McLaren Shadown programme: [2] [3], (stream with 550 000 views: [4]) and became part of the McLaren lineup. Visible profile in Google: [5]. RaceResults of early carreer in GPVWC simracing league: [6]. Won DTM-eSport Championship and a seat in the DTM trophy: [7]. Driver in the Esports team of Max Verstappen: [8]. Winner of A1 Esports competion: [9]. Winner of ESL racing series Mapfre: [10]. Thrustmaster Season 2 MVP with BMW: [11].
