Tyres

[edit]

Only tyres from registered companies can be used according to this list, which does not include Hankook as currently suggested for some entries in Fafe. Registered tyre companies are:

  • Michelin
  • Pirelli
  • MRF

ERC Open Entries

[edit]

Entries in one of ERC and ERC Open do not automatically qualify for entry into the other, hence changes to the table. The official entry list for Fafe now makes perfect sense to the championship table. eWRC need to remove 'ERC' eligibility for Vinyes and Monarri. Potiiko initially entered the rally, but did not register for either ERC or ERC Open, therefore he should not be included in 'ERC 2022' entries table (yet). For Azores, the official entry list almost makes sense, but the start list for Saturday confirms that changes were made to Sesks entry details. eWRC need to remove 'ERC' and 'ERC Open' eligibility from Cartier. Hope this is now clear. --Rally Wonk (talk) 13:57, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This morning the FIA have inlcuded Vinyes, Monarri and the Suzuki team in 'ERC' eligibility in Fafe. FIA database is almost correct, eWRC is correct, FIAERC.com expected to update soon. --Rally Wonk (talk) 14:12, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Entrants - confusing and speculative?

[edit]

Examples in Rally4 of many up and down the entries lists: Rene Noller entrant is Rallye Team Spain, yet there is a note to say "entered under driver's name". Same note on Ole Nore Jr, who is also apparently entered under a British entity. There is no supplied source for this, it goes against the source given, and as far as I can see is not mentioned on the official entry list either. Ernesto Cunha is apparently entered by Racing Factory although again with the note saying that actually the driver is the entrant. eWRC would confirm that the entrant Cunha was using a Racing Factory provided car in previous rounds, but this isn't clear in this article and not cited. I don't believe Rallye Team Spain provide cars or personnel, so I'm not sure why they have been included for Noller. What is the intended meaning here? Thanks. --Rally Wonk (talk) 14:33, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've just edited the entries in line with the sources given, removing the confusion and either original research or speculation. WP:FORUM, WP:RUMOUR or WP:CRYSTAL. @202.8.218.167, please can you provide sources or clarify your position? Rally Wonk (talk) 12:38, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
