[edit]I'm sure that this formula page was well-intentioned but that kind of formulaic presentation of material has been deemed inappropriate to an encyclopedia article. See WP:NOTHOWTO for more.
I also have concerns that the approach that was laid out was not quite right. It worked for the simple example described but would not have been able to calculate properly for scenarios that do not follow that exact set of starting assumptions. For example, APR can be calculated even when the cash flows occur at irregular intervals. The formula given forced the cash streams into monthly increments. The general formula on the APR page is really where we want people to go. They can and should implement that formula in their own spreadsheet. Rossami (talk) 22:07, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
