Hey, I'm going to be reviewing this article. Expect comments by the end of the week. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 23:08, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • In the infobox, use "plainlist" instead of "<br/>" per the rules on the template. Done
  • Is the "|story=Gainax" parameter necessary?
  • A Transfer" → "A Transfer" Done
  • What does "7.1% rating" mean?
It means that 7.1% of Japan's televisions were tuned to Tokyo TV during the run. I took it for granted, given the percentage.

Plot

[edit]
  • The plot is 417 words, while it should be under 400 per WP:TVPLOT. Done
  • Remove the comma after "poorly for Nerv".
Removed.

Production

[edit]
  • What exactly is "a mount" within the context of the show?
Specified.

Cultural references and themes

[edit]
  • The caption on the image should describe its significance within the article.
  • Also improve the non-free use rationales of the images (see MOS:TVIMAGE for help).
Hope it helps.
  • "awkward communication. ... Evangelion" → "awkward communication [...] Evangelion"
Fixed.
  • "the sixties inspire" → "the 1960s inspired" Done
  • Wikipedia doesn't normally use phrases like "he said" so try rewording the sentence. Done
  • References should be included at the end of each quote, so recite certain sources. Done
  • "A transfer" → "A Transfer" Done

Reception

[edit]
  • Again, explain what "7.1% rating" means and/or refers to.
  • The second reference after "home video releases" is missing parts of its title. Done
  • "as it shows" → "as it showed" Done

Notes and references

[edit]
  • Change the "Notes" header to "References", add a subsection titled "Citations" and make the original "References" section into a "Bibliography" subsection (example). Done
  • Archive all archivable sources (either manually or with this tool). Done
  • Optional, but it helps readers if you link websites within the "|website=" parameter. Done

Improved to Good Article status by TeenAngels1234 (talk). Self-nominated at 15:32, 18 March 2021 (UTC).[reply]

  • Article was made into a good article within 7 days of nomination and is at least 1,500 characters. It is neutral and cites sources with inline citations. I will have to assume good faith on print sources. I am more inclined to ALT1 as the original ALT doesn't seem to be eye-catching.lullabying (talk) 22:02, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Lullabying: Thank you. Forgive me, but for some reason this template is missing from the main DYNN page. Is there a reason? It's a problem? Sorry, but it's my second nomination and I still don't quite understand the mechanism.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 22:15, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TeenAngels1234: After your nomination was approved, a bot moved it from the DYNN page to the "approved" page at WP:DYKNA (you should be able to see it there). There's a lot of approved hooks, but eventually a promoter will come by, double check the nomination, and move it to a DYK set so it can be scheduled to run on the Main Page. You should be all set in the meantime, just a matter of waiting. DanCherek (talk) 03:02, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect. Thank you, of course.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 12:48, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
