[edit]This page disregards previous research in this area, and presents the views of a single author, or perhaps worst the views of a single publication, as the state of the art. As a reader I am wondering who authored this page...
There is no actual wondering of who did this page ... One can easily see the previous publications from R.W. Picard at the MIT MediaLab starting at ~1997. I do not know myself if these were the first references to Affective computing though...
