[edit]Agos (band)
[edit]Perhaps a new article should be made for the band Agos, if they are notable enough that is? --Hellahulla 21:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Meaning of Agos
[edit]Is it a Turkish word? What's the meaning?--Fitzwilliam 02:23, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Can Armenians please step in? I had read somewhere that it meant furrow in Armenian. Furrow, as in what happens when you plow the earth. --Free smyrnan 02:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, precisely, it's the line that is created after the plow passes the earth. -- Davo88 03:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- As far as I know, it is that...I just checked my Armenian dictionary too and that's pretty much what it means. Fedayee 03:14, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your help. It is difficult to start an article in Chinese because of a lack of information. Your reminder is important because, as of now, all Chinese media only transliterate instead of translating the name Agos. But the modern usage of Chinese is always translating terms with literal meanings. If possbile, I would like some reference materials for citation.--Fitzwilliam 04:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
