Neutral point of view

[edit]

Large sections of this article now read more like a party indictment of Leonard than an objective biography, full of argumentative speculation. See for example the paragraph under "Initial Reception" - "Did Rome anticipate these negative reactions? They must have foreseen them, if they paid attention to the terna, the list of three names of possible successors Karl-Josef Rauber, the papal nuncio, put together in 2008, after the usual consultations of Belgian church and state leaders, and sent to Rome. They must certainly have foreseen them when Léonard’s name was not on the second terna, which Rauber put together after the first had been rejected by Rome." If such speculation is to be included, it needs to be quoted in a primary source, and attributed. Remember: "The tone of Wikipedia articles should be impartial, neither endorsing nor rejecting a particular point of view." Likewise, I question the inclusion of the entire "Temperament" section, something I can hardly recall being done in other well moderated biographies of this sort in Wiki. Vandalism

[edit]

Be aware that this page needs to be protected from vandals somehow. I am not neutral and will refrain from editing the page in question since the wiki page on vandalism just confused me when I tried to figure out how to flag the page for it.Pär Larsson 03:26, 23 November 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Parl2001 (talkcontribs)

Primate of Belgium section

[edit]

A half-sentence with no end leads me to believe that this section was edited by someone in haste, whether warranted or not I do not know. Being an inexperienced editor and not neutral I don't see it as my place to revert or try to figure out what should or shouldn't be in that section. Help, please?
