  • Philafrenzy, the image is from the cover of a book first published in 1979. How do you know that it is reused from a public domain image rather than being a 1970s creation in Victorian style, or even an old black-and-white image subsequently colored for publication? There's nothing in the entry at Commons to indicate its source or even the original artist, just a "circa 1900" assertion. Where does the image come from?
