New article review[edit]

This biography of a living person has two inline references. This is a good start but of course the article will benefit from further extension and some wikifying, including:

  • the bolded title of the article is normally part of the lead paragraph (I will do this)

Other changes I will leave to you:

  • no spaces before inline refs (they follow punctuation as correctly done here), see MOS:REFPUNC
  • please use one of the supported date formats, whichever of 21 July 1868 or July 21, 1968 is most appropriate for a Canadian subject, see MOS:DATE
  • please add text to bare url links (typically an article title for a reference, as for example [http://www.dancemagazine.com/issues/April-2008/Aszure-Barton "Aszure Barton"] (with the quotes inside the link for a citation like that)
  • you could consider using {{cite web}} etc templates for the inline references, but there is no requirement to do so: I find they make standard and consistent formatting a bit easier

I will add a few templates and categories to the article and talk page which will illustrate how to link an article into the Wikipedia environment, and remove the userspace draft template. --Mirokado (talk) 00:44, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nominate for deletion[edit]

To nominate this article for deletion, 2600:1700:C850:9CB0:6427:5C21:EAE:4F5D, you need to click on the red link to "This article's entry" and create a page stating why the article should be deleted and state the guidelines that are being violated. See WP:BEFORE to start that process.

There is some formatting that likely needs to be done as well, so that it looks like other Articles for deletion entries. In addition, the person that created the article should be notified. There is information about that on the deletion notification box on the Aszure Barton page.

I posted this here because I saw that you only had two contributions. Are you truly wanting this deleted? Are you going to execute the proper steps?–CaroleHenson (talk) 16:28, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's not possible for the person to execute all the steps, as to do so requires creating the page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aszure Barton, and IPs cannot create pages. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 17:50, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. They've not responded here and someone deleted the AfD template on the article page, so it looks like there's nothing more to do. Thanks!–CaroleHenson (talk) 20:09, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
