synthesis statement
[edit]Commercial cocaine production began when Austrian opthamologist Karl Koller discovered in the mid-1880s that it was a good local anaesthetic for eye operations. how does this relate to bilateral relations? Unless Koller actually had some connection with Colombia it doesn't. I don't think Koller cared where cocaine came from.
