Lead 2020

Chandan Guha, regarding this edit, is it necessary to start the lead with a negative sentence "Bagdogra is a settlement not identified as a separate place by the Census of 2011 in the Naxalbari CD block in the Siliguri subdivision of the Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal". Instead IMO, the sentence can be framed as:

Bagdogra is a settlement in the Naxalbari CD block in the Siliguri subdivision of the Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal

If "identification by the Census 2011" is necessary to be mentioned, then we can add in the next sentence like "It is not identified as a separate place". - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:29, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
