Naming

[edit]

Bagli Party is not a good name. I suggest Crosier Party, since the word "bagal" is derived from latin Baccallum, which means crosier. The party was so named because it was supported by the church (for some odd reason not mentioned in the text), so using the term 'Crosier Party' would actually add meaning to it.

Pretenders vs kings.

[edit]

Why style them as "pretenders"? They were all technically kings. As they were all given that title at the thing, which was the traditional, and official, way that such a title was bestowed upon someone. --Tokle (talk) 14:41, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Birkebeiner and Bagler articles into Civil war era in Norway article

[edit]

Suggestion for some editor(s) who know(s) far more about these topics than I do: All three articles need work and overlap each other extensively. While cleaning them up, merge into it the two articles Birkebeiner and Bagler, cleaning up the lacks of citations and resolving any contradictions between the three articles. (E.g., were or were not the Baglers peasants?) Then, delete the Birkebeiner and Bagler articles. Acwilson9 (talk) Acwilson9 (talk) 04:52, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
