[edit]As I created this without a knowledge of the original article I am more than happy for a merge. My only comment is that I fully sourced what I wrote whereas the 'other' St.Baldred cites no academic sources at all. I would question some of the claims made in the first article as unfounded/disputed. David Lauder 20:23, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm slightly perplexed as to who "Bishop Gibson of Saint Andrews" is. In 1542 the "bishop" of Saint Andrews was Cardinal Archbishop David Beaton,and looking through all the main east coast and Glasgow lists of bishops, I can't find a Gibson anywhere. In fact the only Gibson I've come across is a late seventeenth century Anglican Bishop of London. Brendandh 01:39, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
