Cleanup
[edit]The page as it is looks a bit of a mess, with some parts looking copy and pasted without much editing. I'm putting the cleanup notice on it, and will start to make a few alterations. - Master Of Ninja 13:56, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Golden Goal
[edit]Golden Goal does not exist. I've changed. --217.228.195.111 (talk) 11:55, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Second sentence
[edit]The second sentence says "The game itself is played on beaches, and emphasises skill, agility and goals." Is the last word really necessary, given that normal football emphasizes goals? Bart133 t c @ How's my driving? 02:23, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Also, just wondering if it has to take place on a beach in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup and the Mundialito de Futebol de Praia, or if you can play it anywhere as long as you have sand laid down? Thanks...Smarkflea (talk) 07:35, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Beach football
[edit]Τhe correct title and intro must be Beach football
Beach football, also known as beach soccer or beasal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:2149:8610:FC00:FDD6:79FC:9DC:F45B (talk) 22:47, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- hey, this sport was first played in America(aka the country that creates it) so it should be called beach soccer Mailsac (talk) 15:43, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- "started in Brazil, more precisely at Rio de Janeiro" - Wikipedia, and Brazil call the sport "futebol de areia", so by your rule it should be "beach football" then.
- I'm not asking for a change, but your reasoning is flawed. Liggliluff (talk) 17:04, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
