Beacon of Hope (sculpture) → Beacon of Hope — Is this the dominant meaning of "Beacon of Hope"? —harej 20:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Beacon of Hope (sculpture) → Beacon of Hope — transferred (by Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)) from db-move tagging at 20:32, 27 May 2009 by User:TenPoundHammer
- But is this the dominant meaning of "Beacon of Hope"? The current Beacon of Hope is a disambig page. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Support The album was by a band currently at afd and unlikely to survive. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 21:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Support. Based on pageviews (low for both but several times higher for this article) and incoming links the sculpture is primary between the two uses on WP (Google is not helpful here). A hatnote pointing to the album would need to go on this article though. Station1 (talk) 21:53, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. Many things are beacons of hope, and the fame of this sculpture will fade with time as it gradually becomes part of the scenery. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:36, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose per Anthony Appleyard. This is not the primary meaning. --Bejnar (talk) 22:10, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Title[edit]
Is it actually known as the "Beacon of Hope"? Can't find sources to say so. Sculptor's website calls it "Thanksgiving Square Beacon". PamD 13:09, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
