The Alaska Dispatch is currently publishing a series of articles about Alaskan bush pilots. One of the articles I've read is about Bill Stedman. I'm guessing that he's Bert Stedman's father, but since much biographical information out there about notable Alaskans is so lacking in real meat, I have no real idea for certain. If that is the case, an interesting fact is that Bill Stedman's original aviation mentor and onetime business partner, Tony Schwamm, also had a son who served in the Alaska Legislature.RadioKAOS (talk) 00:41, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, I found a copy of The Bushed Pilot and it appears that they aren't father and son. Since it appears that there are/were several generations of Stedmans living in Petersburg, it would be likely that there is a relation, however.RadioKAOS (talk) 04:35, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
