S-V agreement

The Eagles is the team as a whole (a single entity) which would make it agree with the singular conjugation of the verb "to be." However, both are correct, depending on what the author is saying. Therefore, being that you are the author, you must be talking about the players, not the team as single entity. So you must be correct. Cheers!--It's me...Sallicio! 19:25, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
