There are only three hits for "Bong Ug-won" in the Naver News Library (which I added to the main article before realising the whole issue with the name): a mention that he was in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps and participated in the World Wrestling Championships qualifiers in on 17 July 1959, and another report that he was in Kyung Hee University and participated in the WWC qualifiers on 18 April 1961. This article reports that Bong Chang-won of the Marines participated in the WWC qualifiers on 16 July 1959, while this article reports that Bong Chang-won of Kyung Hee University participated in the WWC qualifiers on 17 April 1961. There are hundreds of more hits for Bong Chang-won in Naver News Archive, making it likely that Bong Ug-won is just a rare error that somehow got picked up by Sports Reference. Similarly, in English language sources, there are no Google Books hits for "Bong Ug-won" or "Bong Uk-won", while there's at least one for Bong Chang-won [2]. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 04:33, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
