this is a fact-based article, not persuasion-based. Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing requests software-based articles. wiki is full of similar articles already which have NOT been contested for either speedy or turtly deletion:

Ghost (software)

PartitionMagic

but those seem to be deemed ok, but this one is not, no explanation.

This software and company helped shape the PC industry and is well known by all the influential players in the PC market including IBM, Intel, and Microsoft. The insiders all know this.

[edit]

I stumbled upon this page as a sideeffect of trying to correct a redirect from Extended Master Boot Record to Boot It, a boot manager developed by TeraByte Unlimited.

I learned that various articles discussing products of this company have been deleted and/or redirected in the past, however, the reasons do not really become clear to me, given that we have various articles on similar products by other vendors as well.

Perhaps these old decisions should be revised, as there are several "dangling pointers" now which redirect to Microsoft's Bing, a totally unrelated product.

If we don't restore the contents of this article, at least we should change the redirect to point to Comparison of boot loaders instead of Bing. However, since this page is protected I can't do it myself...
