Claiming that those who boycotted the referendum as Spanish unionists when that article says "Spanish unionism is a pejorative label used by the Basque nationalism and Catalan independence movements" is beyond unacceptable and a clear violation of our neutrality policy. ♫ RichardWeisstalkcontribs13:05, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Wikipedia is not a source for Wikipedia, so whoever is free to go change that article, since does not seem to be accurate. It looks like an ad hoc article to maintain that assumption. Meanwhile the term is descriptive, accurate and neutral. Regards Iñaki LL (talk) 14:17, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
I don't think there is anything to sort out, it is a well-referenced article and those publications don't have to abide by our neutrality policy, nor do they link directly to that article stating it is a pejorative term. That would have to change in that article to restore the links here. ♫ RichardWeisstalkcontribs18:50, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Removing a link to a page that said the term is pejorative if your idea of neutrality is hatred of those who oppose independence. You need to assume good faith and desist from attacing other users. We all have the right o pleasant conditions here and your comment is not that. And you should stop edit warring. ♫ RichardWeisstalkcontribs20:31, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
I should be Ok with the solution, for the sake of smooth editing, but please remember the WP is not about what some main parties in Spain want to make believe in their discourse, but what sources say overall. 'Unionism' is perfectly fine, it is descriptive, and it is used by authoritative sources, unlike 'constitutionalism', a term used by those who most infringe it, like the right to a household or Statute of Autonomy of the Basque Country, a violation of a constitutional organic law lasting now 40 years. The phrase that he "is a Catalan politician and journalist from Spain." is wrong since usually we mention the nation first rather than the region, not to mention that it should be the other way around grammatically-wise. (N0n3up (talk) 01:40, 26 June 2018 (UTC))
