There is another article called Champak (magazine) that has an extensive edit history going back to May 2010. In March 2008 Champak was redirected to Magnolia champaca, and later a new article for the magazine was started. Then the redirect was reversed. Someone who is skilled at this sort of thing needs to merge the two articles. ... discospinster talk 02:40, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk: The aticles has not been merged into one another but I created a redirect link at the Champak (magazine) article to the Champak main article.
Thank You !--Napsync (talk) 03:31, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The history merge is needed to preserve the contributions of the various editors. If we just blank the Champak (magazine) page and make it into a redirect, the information that was added is lost. ... discospinster talk 02:50, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Napsync : I completely filled the Champak article with the same content as of (magazine) and placed the redirection there. Please do not stick these tags,

I shall be highly oblized to you for this act of kindness. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Napsync (talkcontribs) 02:59, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you understand what I'm saying here. I'm not talking about the content, I am talking about crediting the other editors that contributed to the Champak (magazine) article. If you blank the page and redirect it, their contributions are not acknowledged. This is a problem because Wikipedia must attribute all edits to their proper authors. ... discospinster talk 03:04, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I SEE : fine now there are 2 articles that are Champak & Champak (magazine) having same content, excellent Have a good day... May God Bless You !! --Napsync (talk) 03:09, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They have the same content because you copied one into the other. Like I said, it has to be merged in a certain way in order to preserve the history. I might be able to do it but I'm not guaranteeing anything. ... discospinster talk 16:02, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK it seems to have worked. ... discospinster talk 01:48, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
