The following are all rather minor, as I think you've covered the main points of the events, unless, that is, there are sources that have not been used.
The lead is, at the moment, too short and doesn't cover the main points (I suspect you are yet to do it, as you're still on the article, but thought I'd mention it);
Prelude and Robbery are both good;
In quick succession you have "17 other robberies" and "five to seventeen years", which should be made consistent.
