I don't think the current page title is how he's best known at all, but he's one of those peers who has spread confusion over how he is best and correctly known - despite what the front cover and copyright page of his autobiography say, he is not "Lord Charles Brocket" (though I've created a redirect from that page). The cover of his autobiography is also a little unclear about whether we should call him Charlie or not! And almost every conceivable variation of Charles + Brocket pops up on either the dust jacket or front pages...

Can I suggest we have this at either Charles Nall-Cain, 3rd Baron Brocket or even Charlie Nall-Cain, 3rd Baron Brocket (we have Frank Pakenham, 7th Earl of Longford not Francis Pakenham, 7th Earl of Longford for instance). Timrollpickering 16:09, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

He appeared on Bad Lads Army as "Charles Brocket", not "Charlie Brocket". I think Charles Nall-Cain, 3rd Baron Brocket would be best. Proteus (Talk) 17:06, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Suggest that the materila relating to Antalya is not appropriate and irrelevant to this page - if indeed it is appropriate and relevant anywhere. Do we have any source references for it.

Wife's dates?

[edit]

What are the dates shown: Isabell Maria Lorenzo (1982-1994)? Certainly not birth and death! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.152.124.208 (talk) 19:10, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The year 1982 is the year of the marriage.

See some remarks

[edit]

Seven and a half years have been mentioned. This seems to be wrong.

Descendants

[edit]

It is very important, as for all other Peers and noble families, show the names of his children (and possible heirs), especially the daughter that is now a Princess (as wife of a Prince of Royal Blood) and the relations with the descendants of Queen Victoria and foreign Royal Families (Hohenzollern, King of Prussia). Escutcheon incorrect

[edit]

The escutcheon shown in the armorial bearings does not match the blazon - quarters 2 and 3 in the image are gules, the blazon has argent; the charges are different. I cannot immediately find an on-line reference to correct the image or the blazon. Gordon Findlay (talk) 20:47, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
