Born in the land of the Vocontes?

The section Local lore claims that Pliny the elder mentioned wine from Die. Die was at that time called Vocontes or Vocontiorum, depending on language. I have searched Pliny's works without finding anything to substantiate the claim. The reference in the article is a web page written by Clairette de Die, so perhaps not the most unbiased source. Does anybody know more on the subject? Or is it merely local lore? --Klättermusen (talk) 10:18, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
