Photo request: Just about all of them! Any pictures of wine regions, grape varieties or wine would be useful. In particular we need wine region maps that can be licensed for Wikipedia.
The section Local lore claims that Pliny the elder mentioned wine from Die. Die was at that time called Vocontes or Vocontiorum, depending on language. I have searched Pliny's works without finding anything to substantiate the claim. The reference in the article is a web page written by Clairette de Die, so perhaps not the most unbiased source.
