Total over 7 million?

[edit]

Something tells me that's no where near accurate, a source is needed for this if true, and if not a citation for the real total (Breathe again (talk) 00:25, 17 November 2007 (UTC))[reply]

This entire article is poorly written and doesn't represent ms. bailey rae well. i'd edit it myself but i'm sleepy & going to bed right now. perhaps we can flag it for errors?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.124.205.35 (talk) 04:21, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incomprehensible section

[edit]

I've re-tagged the Commercial Performance section as incoherent, as it makes no sense whatsoever:

"Corinne Bailey Rae debuted at number fifteen on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and but soon swung in chrat, but in the nineteenth weeks sailed over his best position # 3, the album spent 79 weeks on the chart, and at number seventeen on the official Billboard 200, with most successful first week sales of 100,000 copies (best debut in the chart to date); making it Bailey Rae's first album to enter the chart in the United States but soon swung in chart, and in the twenty-first weeks sailed over her best position #4, the album spent 71 weeks on the chart, and the upper half of the Billboard 200, selling about over 1,900,000 copies until in January 11, 2010, Certification Platinum by RIAA and to date, the disc was a best-selling British artist in the United States, Corinne Bailey Rae has sold over 4,000,000 copies worldwide, her best-selling album by far"

I can't even hazard a guess at what half of it means, and don't have time to root around to find out, but someone more involved with this article really needs to decipher what on earth is meant by CBR "swinging in chrat" and "sailing over his best position" etc. As the previous guy/gal said, it's a joke and a high-profile artist and album such as this deserves better.

And to the guy who removed the tag I previously placed on this section without doing anything to improve it - please don't this time, unless you've done a rewrite in understandable English. Draggleduck (talk) 10:48, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
