Does a card game that has other components qualify? Think 7 Wonders, which has a lot of other components but is fundamentally a card game, as an extreme case.
There's no reference for the definition of the term, so it's hard to say. List of dedicated deck card games actually contradicts this article by defining them as using "neither standard playing cards nor collectible trading cards". --Lord Belbury (talk) 23:03, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
