Removed redirect as the the the hatred of gods versus the concept that all god might not be good seem too distinct to remain merged.Paulfromatlanta (talk) 21:17, 1 July 2012 (UTC)Paulfromatlanta[reply]

This sentence "Dystheists may encompass theists and atheists, and in the case of either, concerning the nature of the God of Abrahamic faiths" seems awkward but I didn't edit it. It implies that one could be an atheist but also believe in the God of Abraham and that seems likely to confuse.Paulfromatlanta (talk) 13:34, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Paulfromatlanta[reply]

I read it as meaning that a person can discuss the nature of the Abrahamic god without necessarily believing that that god actually exists. But I agree that the wording is awkward. 173.77.78.173 (talk) 18:04, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If anything, God as the Devil would only deserve to be merged with misotheism. The Devil in many different religions and cultures (yes, even outside the Abrahamic ones) is considered to be completely evil, dystheism is where they could not be completely evil. It doesn't say he is the Devil. Jackninja5 (talk) 12:20, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"God as the Devil" is rather a mess, and it's not clear what exactly should be done with that page. Historically, accusations of devil-worship have been frequently made against a huge variety of targets, but it's not clear how to write that information out into a coherent article (at least, to me).
