@*Treker: Can you explain your position on the need to have Embryo loss as a separate article from Miscarriage? I originally converted this to a redirect not because they're the same thing (my rcats categories made that clear), but because there doesn't appear to be any need for a separate article; embryo-stage miscarriages are covered in the primary article at greater detail than they are here, and I don't think there's much likelihood that this page will be expanded so intensely that it would create undue weight there. @Vaticidalprophet: It is my understanding that "miscarriage" refers to when the body expells the embryo or fetus trought the vagina, while "embryo loss" is when the body absorbs the tissue into itself again. I can not find any mentions of resorption in the miscarriage article, so it would seem to me that information would be lost if this page was made into a redirect.★Trekker (talk) 11:01, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think this is a frequently drawn distinction in humans, which is why there's little discussion of it. I don't think this being a separate article is providing much use to readers -- the ability of lost embryos to reabsorb rather than be expelled is something that can be discussed in short detail in the far more read miscarriage article (and as it is, there's very little understanding of how common each are in humans relative to one another). @Vaticidalprophet: I personally disagree that a separate article does not provide much. If you strongly stand by that a merger would be for the best then I think maybe contacting the medical project for further input would be the best for us.★Trekker (talk) 08:20, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
