Overall the article is good, however here's a few things I'd like to see fixed:

  • Make sure jargon, such as no-hitter, is linked. I don't mind it but people who aren't familiar with baseball might need links for those.
  • "30,332 attended opening day." in the seating section is in contrast to "The first game was attended by a standing-room only crowd of 30,388." in the opening section. It uses the same ref, so which is it?
    • Hmm, Take Me Out to the Ballpark says 30,338. The other two books were from the library and I don't have those right now, but it wouldn't surprise me if their figures differed because I doubt they kept track as specifically as they do today. I'll just change it to what I can cite for now. Blackngold29 16:47, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Make sure the fair use image satisfies every guideline that may be used to consider deletion. I fixed it up where I could, though double-check everything.

Overall though, these issues are quite minor. I'll put it on hold until the issues are taken care of. Wizardman 14:51, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's also at least one mistake that I know of. Although a portion of the outfield wall still stands, the portion over which Mazeroski's homer went is no longer there, but is only marked by a line of bricks along with a little plaque in the ground that marks the spot. I don't know if someone changed it, but it now states "The portion of the left field wall over which Bill Mazeroski hit his walk-off home run in the 1960 World Series, between the scoreboard and the "406 ft" sign, no longer stands, but is outlined by bricks extending from the left-center field wall across Roberto Clemente Drive and into the sidewalk." So that part looks fine to me. Blackngold29 16:47, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The intro still has the mistake about the wall. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 17:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
rm'd it from the lead. Wizardman 17:23, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Removing that one sentence left the other sentence as a non-sequitor. I added back a statement about the home run, mentioning only that some remants of the park still stand. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 18:24, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
