PKZ-1 and PKZ-2

[edit]

User:Steelpillow you seem to be right, there is no connection with Ganz Works. According to the book Military helicopters of the world: military rotary-wing aircraft since 1917, Dr. Theodore von Karman was a director of the research group at Fischamend airfield, and Ensign Wilhelm Zurovec, an engineer at Fischamend [1]. Also, Britannica says that PKZ-1 was made at the Military Aircraft Factory at Fischamend in Austria: [2] 82.79.212.176 (talk) 10:22, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ships

The company built some ocean liners too.

Unverified claims

[edit]

Unverified claims, non-summary lead material (wp:lead), and general WP:PUFF keeps being inserted into the lead[3][4]. Also an unverified claim that Nikola Tesla (and others) were key people (Tesla seems not to have been "key" at all). This stuff needs to be in the article with reference to be in the lead and needs not to be written as puffery. Fountains of Bryn Mawr (talk) 22:50, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have tidied this up a bit. Mock wurzel soup (talk) 19:27, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Flour Milling.

[edit]

Messrs. Ganz & Co., of Buda-Pesth (in Hungary) and Ratisbon (in Germany), are exhibiting ... one of their roller-mills. The firm of Ganz & Co. was the first to introduce the chilled castiron rollers for milling purposes, and their success has not been equalled, ... over 15,000 of their roller-mills are now working all over the world. All the different processes are performed automatically...
