Howto information:

I need someone to clarify this for me. The WikiProject Aquarium Fishes has this to say about what information to include about aquarium fish:

  1. Aquarium care
  1. Popularity, hardiness, availability, general introduction
  2. Behavior in captivity, aggressiveness
  3. Tank set-up, tankmates, temperature, pH, salinity, water requirements
  4. Feeding
  5. Breeding, more details on sexing
  6. Diseases and treatments
  7. Varieties, breeds, colorations (if different breeds have significantly different behaviors or require different care, you may want to move this topic up)
  8. Mentions of related species, how they are different or similar
  9. Other aquarium care information

Later in the page: Species articles are usually the prime source of aquarium care information. Go into the most details here. Pictures are important and should have more than one.

All of the information I have included in this section seems to me to fit under this wikiproject. The only place where it seems to me to be somewhat questionable is for the information about the possible ramifications of the toxic slime. That still seems to me to pretty clearly fit under category 3 for tankmates, or category 9 for other aquarium care information.

While I will admit this is "howto" information, and I need to find a better source than the commercial site for care information, if this page is to be significantly altered in the type of content it contains, it seems to me that both the WikiProject Aquarium Fishes page, and the pages of most freshwater aquarium fishes need to be significantly altered.
