Although the new municipality uses the name "Groenlo-Lichtenvoorde", the official name (as published in the Staatscourant) is really "Groenlo". See for example the website of Statistics Netherlands (CBS): [1]. I think the first date at which a new name can be made official is 1 year after the creation of the new municipality; that would be January 1, 2006. Eugene van der Pijll 22:36, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Catholic? According to the page about The Netherlands, the population is one of the most secular in Europe, with under 40% being religiously affiliated. Certainly, the "Catholics" can't claim ownership on this region? Second, it hints at Carnaval being a Catholic fest, which it is not, because it's more of an anti-christian activity. I have the impression that "the Catholics" have been going around and arbitrarily slapping their label on where it isn't appropriate. Someone ought to review all of this, and take appropriate action. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.237.5.185 (talk) 21:37, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
