Focus

[edit]

It is wrong that ix focuses on UNIX. It focuses on professionell IT. Of course, because UNIX is more widely spreed in pro IT than consumer IT, UNIX takes more space in the magazine. For example it gives Java a lot of attention which is platform independently. I have modified it. --138.246.7.146 19:34, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It seems somebody reverted this change, which is rather unfortunate, as the above statement is absolutely true: the magazine covers a broad variety of topics, not just UNIX. Trust me, I've been reading this magazine for the past 10 years. I'll modify the article to reflect this better. Tibi (talk) 21:40, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

What is the origin of the name 'iX'? Does it stand for anything? If so, it should be added to this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.6.32.162 (talk) 21:29, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
